What is Paleo Plus Turkey & Fish Raw Dog Food?

Paleo Plus Turkey & Fish is a lean, low-fat raw dog food enriched with our unique Berry Good superfood mix. This meal comes in 500g packs, and the packaging is fully recyclable.

This raw dog food product is minced not only to simplify mealtimes for you but also to ensure a gentle experience for your dog’s digestive system.

The fish is sourced seasonally and may include one of the following species: Herring, Sprats, Sardines, Mackerel or Seabass – all sustainably procured from a UK supplier with comprehensive traceability.

The beef components are predominantly grass-fed and sourced from animals raised in outdoor-reared environments. The turkey used is high-welfare and of the highest quality. Using animals in our products which have been raised in a natural, happy environment creates healthier and more nutritious meals.

This chunky, raw dog food is complete to FEDIAF standards and adheres to the principles of BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food).

Each 500g pack of Paleo Plus Turkey & Fish contains 10% raw bone, 10% raw offal (organ meat), 75% raw muscle meat, and 5% antioxidant superfoods.

The Berry Good antioxidant mix of superfoods included are:

• Broccoli
• Seaweed

When crafting this product, our goal was to create a lean raw dog food enriched with fish, providing a highly nutritious option for your dog. To achieve this, we have primarily used turkey meat with the skin removed along with turkey heart and fish.

Fish, a key element in this meal, contributes healthy oils and omega 3, making it an excellent addition to a raw diet. Not only this but fish is also a great source of protein, vitamin B12, vitamin D and calcium, all needed to promote a healthy immune system, maintain healthy nerve function and produce energy.

Understanding the significance of organotherapy for dogs, where each organ nourishes its corresponding organ, such as feeding liver for liver issues, we’ve curated a diverse selection of offal including:

• Liver
• Lung
• Spleen
• Kidney
• Heart

Organ meat contains an abundance of nutrients, essential for your dog's health including vitamins A, D, B12, iron, selenium, and amino acids.

Paleo Plus Turkey & Fish is suitable for dogs of any age including puppies from 8 weeks old.

Dogs suffering from pancreatitis can be fed this meal due to the incredibly low fat content of just 5%. This lean raw dog food is also ideal for those who would like their dog to lose a few pounds!

This nutritious product is also ideal for dogs who need an immune boost, whether they have reoccurring infections, are recovering from an operation, or require a bit more energy, Paleo Plus Turkey & Fish provides a potent mix of ingredients to boost the immune system.

If you suspect or know that your dog has an intolerance to turkey or fish, we do not recommend feeding this product.

Paleo Plus Turkey & Fish raw dog food needs to be stored in the freezer and defrosted at the bottom of the fridge, in a sealed Tupperware.

We highly recommend defrosting and keeping the raw meat in a sealed container to avoid any risk of contamination with other items in your fridge. For more information, please see our blog ‘Hygiene Instructions’.

Once the food has been fully defrosted, it will last in the fridge for 2 days. Depending on how much you need to feed your dog per meal, you can either weigh this it out on scales or portion it by eye (for instance if your dog requires 250g per meal, you can feed half of the pack).

It’s important with a raw dog food diet to feed a variety of different meats to elevate your dog’s nutritional profile. Different animals contain different nutrients, so rotating these meals each week is ideal.
