Paleo Plus Totally Chicken is a lean, low-fat single-protein raw dog food enriched with our unique Berry Good superfood mix. This meal comes in 500g recyclable packs. This product is minced not only to simplify mealtimes for you but also to ensure a gentle experience for your dog’s digestive system.

Our chemical-free chicken carcasses boast larger-than-average sizes providing your dog with the added benefit of extra meaty cuts and significantly more protein in their diet.

This chunky, raw dog food is complete to FEDIAF standards and adheres to the principles of BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food).

Each 500g pack contains 10% raw bone, 10% raw offal (organ meat), 75% raw muscle meat, and 5% antioxidant superfoods.

The Berry Good antioxidant mix of superfoods includes:

Paleo Plus Totally Chicken has been specially formulated to provide optimum nourishment for your dog.

Chicken is a great source of B vitamins including B1, B6 and B12. These are all essential to a dog’s diet as they help to promote cell growth and function and are also necessary for the absorption of protein and fat.

Chickens that spend time outdoors are rich in vitamin D, which they absorb from the sun. Dogs cannot produce their own vitamin D so they must get it from their diet.

Our high-quality chickens contain an abundance of minerals including, iron, zinc, tryptophan, copper, calcium, magnesium, potassium and selenium. All of these minerals are essential and help to support a healthy nervous system, strengthen bones teeth and maintain a healthy coat, rid the body of toxins and improve general overall health.

Included in this meaty mix is a wonderful range of chicken organs including:

Organ meat contains an abundance of nutrients, essential for your dog's health including vitamins A, D, B12, iron, selenium, and amino acids.

Paleo Plus Totally Chicken is suitable for adult and senior dogs. It can also be fed to puppies however, this must be in moderation due to the high calcium content.

If you are trialling an elimination diet with your dog, Totally Chicken is a great choice as it is a single-protein meal.

Dogs suffering from pancreatitis can be fed this meal due to the low fat content of 8%. This lean raw dog food is also ideal for those who would like their dog to lose a few pounds!

If you suspect or know that your dog has an intolerance to chicken, we do not recommend feeding this product.

Paleo Plus Totally Chicken needs to be stored in the freezer and defrosted at the bottom of the fridge, in a sealed Tupperware.

We highly recommend defrosting and keeping the raw meat in a sealed container to avoid any risk of contamination with other items in your fridge. For more information, please see our blog ‘Hygiene Instructions’.

Once the food has been fully defrosted, this will last in the fridge for 2 days. Depending on how much you need to feed your dog per meal, you can either weigh this out on scales or portion by eye (for instance if your dog requires 250g per meal, you can feed half of the pack).

It’s important with a raw diet to feed a variety of different meats to elevate your dog’s nutritional profile. Different animals contain different nutrients, so rotating these meals each week is ideal.
