How Do UK Pet Owners Spoil Their Dogs at Christmas?

It’s definitely not a dog’s life for pets over the festive season. Research conducted by Paleo Ridge, the UK’s leading and most accredited producer of high-quality raw dog food, showed that customer pets are positively spoiled at Christmas.

The survey found that the vast majority of dogs (90%) are given a present at Christmas, while over half (53%) are treated to a Christmas stocking. With dogs very much part of families all year round, the research shows they are not left out of festive celebrations either.

66% of dogs are given a special dinner at Christmas, with 40% of owners saying that turkey is their dog’s festive favourite. Carrots and brussels sprouts are also a popular fixture in dogs’ Christmas dinners with 64% of dog owners plating up carrots for their pets and 32% serving sprouts in their festive meals, despite causing flatulence in our furry friends!

With 75% of owners going as far as wrapping their dog’s Christmas gifts, it is definitely the season to treat your furry friends. Paleo Ridge is catering to dog owners looking to treat their pets this year with a limited-edition Christmas meal. The Classic Christmas Pheasant, Turkey and Lamb (500g) meal creates a taste sensation, so that dogs can join their families with a Christmas dinner designed especially for them.

Including high quality and ethically sourced ingredients from across the British countryside, the exciting new Paleo Ridge Christmas product is available for £3.60 and comes wrapped in a wonderfully festive design, with a recyclable tub and compostable sleeve.
