To achieve an ISO 9001 certification, companies need a Quality Management System (QMS) in place. This system is based on several quality management principles including a strong customer focus. The QMS advises best practice processes and a commitment to continual improvement. This certification helps ensure that Paleo Ridge customers get consistent, high-quality products and service. We are currently the only raw dog food company to hold this certification.

The Pet Food Manufacturers Association (PFMA) is the leading trade body for the UK pet food industry. They focus on providing pet owners and professionals with information on all types of pet food and good nutrition. As members of the PFMA, we are part of a network that advises and supports on regulatory and technical matters as well as being able to influence policy and legislation through joining PFMA committees.

OF&G certify more than half of the UK organic land and provide support, give information and licensing to the UK’s top organic food businesses. We are proud to offer several products with the OF&G label, which certifies that products have been produced from organic ingredients with an audit trail from farm to factory.

This award is designed to support the reputation of ethical companies by showing that the company is endorsed by the Ethical Company Organisation (ECO). The teams at ECO conduct an in-depth research audit to verify ethical and corporate social responsibility across 3 key areas: Environment, Animals and People. Their Ethical Company Award is a clear, independent and trusted sign of Paleo Ridges’ ethical position and credentials. We are proud to have held this award since 2018.

The Federation of Small Businesses’ (FSB) mission is to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions. Established 45 years ago, FSB is the UK’s largest grassroots business campaigning group, which ensures the voice of small businesses is heard at the highest level across the UK, as well as providing business services and products to our members.

The Raw Feeding Veterinary Society (RFVS) are a group of motivated vets and vet nurses with a common interest in raw feeding and species appropriate nutrition in dogs and cats. We are proud to work with them to make sure that we are giving our customers the best and most up to date advice when it comes to raw feeding.

The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) are a UK Government department responsible for safeguarding our natural environment, supporting our food and farming industry and sustaining a rural economy. They play a major role in people’s lives, from the food and drink we consume, to the air we breathe. Pet food companies must be compliant with relevant regulations to get a DEFRA license.
