An award winning, innovative, family run business is looking to fill a number of new vacancies owing to rapid expansion. We are looking for engaged, hard working, motivated individuals to join our core team. Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as Production Operative will include:

  • Picking and packing of products on a production line, while following all the factory plans to ensure orders are completed on time in full
  • Inspection of products prior to despatch
  • Operation of machinery
  • Preparing and issuing materials to Production, using the warehouse management system
  • Monitoring and recording control points
  • Cleaning and maintaining the work area
  • Ensuring quality through internal systems and processes
  • Monitoring and recording control points

The nature of the business dictates you must be flexible within your role and you will be required to work between both Production and Despatch departments in busy periods. You must be a team player and be able to work methodically.

Please note, that this role is for Production and involves handling raw meat and line work and at least 1 year’s production experience is required and you must be at least 18 years of age. You will experience smells in your place of work, but our product is very fresh and any odour will be kept to a minimum.

Training will be provided, with the potential for Forklift, First Aid and Supervisory training for the right candidates, with an immediate start date.

Experience:

  • production: 1 year (Preferred)
  • You will work a 47.5 hour week
  • Salary: £9.00 - £10.00 per hour with extra hours available, Monday to Friday
